Basement Waterproofing

Regardless of whether you have this area finished or not, it will be important for you to ensure that it is dry, safe, and healthy. Doing so can help to preserve your home’s structural integrity, value, and even your family’s overall health and well-being.

A lot of homeowners want to know how moisture got into this area to begin with. Typically speaking, seepage will be able to get into this space: through the cove joint (where the wall and floor meet), over the top of the foundation (grading problem), up through a clogged or deteriorating floor drain, through a weak or brittle window seal, through wall or floor cracks, or it could be from a plumbing problem from inside of the home. There are many ways moisture can get inside, and at St. Louis Basement Pros, we have the solution for each entry way. Get in contact with a highly rated basement repair contractor today to restore you basement to a dry condition.

Floor Drain

Great! Price was right, but more importantly the intellectual capital behind the price was even better. Identified the problems and provided cost effective solutions behind it. Craftsmanship outstanding.

Basement Waterproofing

We live in a house with a full basement that was built in 1915. The house has three full stories. We had noticed a new plaster crack in the second story and wanted to be sure the foundation was stable. The representative came, looked at the foundation and basement, and pointed out a few things we could do ourselves to keep the foundation area dryer. He also told us that the plaster crack was caused by settling from the weight of the house on the support beams in the basement (not basement walls). He explained what they could do to improve the support system in the basement and gave us a quote if we wanted to do the work, but was honest enough to tell us that the house was very stable in its present condition, which is what we really wanted to know.
